Easy Way to Find Ores Early Game

Press the F1 key to open the debug menu, where you can check your current coordinates on the right side of the screen.

The coordinates show your orientation and depth. Out of the three numbers, the middle one represents your current depth.

Head to coordinates (130, -15, 100) to find a large, tunnel-like cave. It’s easy to spot once you're in the vicinity.

You can easily find up to mid-tier minerals in this cave

  • Silver, Gold
  • Titanium, Copper
  • Quartz, Cave Sulfur

Cave Sulfur cannot be mined from rocks; you must collect it from the nests where Crashfish reside.

Basic Equipment Blueprint Fragment Locations

Follow the coordinates below to find fragments for the Beacon, Grav Trap, and Compass.

  • 62, -7, -84: Beacon & Grav Trap Fragments
  • 56, -15, -87: Beacon, Grav Trap, & Seaglide Fragments
  • 163, -27, -251: Beacon & Grav Trap Fragments, Vending Machine

  • Lifepod 3 (Check Radio for location): Compass

Seamoth & Laser Cutter Fragment Locations

Fragments for the Seamoth (mini-sub) and Laser Cutter are commonly found on the seabed of the Grassy Plateaus (Red Grass area).

You can reach the Grassy Plateaus by heading past the Kelp Forest from your Lifepod. If you have trouble finding it, go to coordinates (133, -75, 386).

The entrance to the Jellyshroom Caves is also nearby. Mark it with a Beacon and search the surrounding area for Seamoth and Laser Cutter fragments.

While the Jellyshroom Caves are rich in resources, the depth makes it dangerous. Ensure you have enough oxygen or save your game frequently while exploring.
